Species: Anthro Chimera/ Jotün Hybrid (Frost Chimera)
Height: 2.40m (7'9") to the top of its head (horns are really curved so they only add a couple of cm/inches, nothing significant)
Artemis was born the mixed son of a wandering chimera and a frost giantess, and was raised by his mother alone for some time up north in the land of the frost giants, but growing up he felt out of place with the rest of the giants, not only in size but in general aspect, so, at age 10, he abandoned home and went to find a place for himself. This proved to be quite a difficult since both giants and chimeras are perceived as dangerous "man-eaters", so he spent some time running and hiding from humans, until he was found by an old knight who took him under his protection, gave him a human name, made him his squire and trained him to become a knight, even presenting him to royalty, to be considered to serve. When his master died, he was called to be take its place among the knights of the kingdom, something he had been training for, but once he presented to serve he soon realized he was not taken as an equal to the rest of the knights, due to him being a monster, yet, he served the best as he could, following his master's wishes.
After some time serving as a knight he realized the kind of men he was fighting for, the king he served was a cruel man who despised all monsters and magical creatures alike, and saw him as nothing else than a war beast to be used, yet his knight's honor forced him to serve him, until a comment of the king made him loose his temper and protest against his command. As a punishment he was sent to guard the dungeons, as the "monster he is", something he considered a failure to his masters legacy, until he met the only prisoner kept inside the castle's dungeon, a lonely gorgon named Polaris, kept imprisoned by the cruel king for no other crime than being a monster, just like him. After learning her story and having enough of the king's mistreats against the poor maiden and the monster kin alike, he rebelled, freed the gorgon and ran away with her, now he serves as Polaris protector (and husband, hehe), traveling around the land, searching for a place to call home.
Extras:
-He breathes "Cold Fire", a blue kind of flame that freezes instead of burning
-His Tail is a "living cobra" that can see and smell yet has no mind of its own, it is an extension of His own mind.
-He has two hearts, a giant's heart and a Lion's heart (I thought about this after considering how could a chimera pump enough blood to keep three heads alive)
-His skin and fur are White, yet his torso is covered in blue tiger stripes
-When happy he will purr like a any other cat, when ashamed he will meow
-His mane's density changed with the temperature, if its too warm, its mane will become straight, if its too cold, it will puff up
-Its tail can bite, but instead of poisoning, it will leave you with a frostbite (get it? GET IT? ITS A JOKE!!!)
-He is a giant in many ways (-wink wink-)
