This pokemon is based in a mexican legend from Queretaro, so here it is:
"In june of 1697, The father Antonio Margil de Jesus, one of the first Franciscans in Mexico, arrived to Queretaro to evangelize, and he was carring his walking stick, that was made of already dry wood, and which he used to do his long walks over the mexican territory, but when he was resting, he stick it to the ground, and forgot it when he continued his trip, lefting it in the mountain, but then the dead wood cane started to bloom, and became a tree, covered with cross-shaped thorns, which still is alive and can be found in the Convento de la Santa Cruz in Queretaro, Mexico."
