Another one of the weekly illustration challenges, this time it was to illustrate the words "Animal" and "Pirate" and this is what I made

His name is Kelonius Torthon, known as Captain Gator, captain of the "Black Lagoon"

He is based on an Alligator Snapping turtle, which is quite a pretty awesome turtle to begin

You should download it to aprecciate the small details, this one took quite a lot of time (and lot of ink)

Anything to add on to his menacing demeanor; Artificial limbs indicate that he lived a wild life on the high seas.

What relation does the word "kelonius" have to turtles? I noticed it on your old Turtle Powermon that were supposed to be in place of Eevee's family.
